2. Cultural Theme Park attractions in China
I've been researching to compile a list of cultural theme parks, in China, that showcase Chinese architecture (old, new, traditional, modern, fantasy), Chinese music - song and dance or shows / performances, Chinese gardens, Chinese food, hanfu photoshoot opportunities, with NPC, interactive or immersive attractions. So far, I've found these ones on Trip.com. See images attached. Yes! I'm a tourist and enjoy visiting these kinds of places... I love ancient China. I watch a lot of Chinese costume dramas. If I could time travel, I really would! I have already visited Millennium City Park and The Song Dynasty Of Kungfu City - Wanshuishanwuxiacheng in Kaifeng. I loved both and will revisit them in the future! **My questions are...** **Am I missing any other famous, popular, must-visit cultural theme park attractions in China?** **If yes, can you give me the name, website, link or** [**Trip.com**](http://Trip.com) **webpage for these other cultural theme park attractions please?** I've read about the newly-opened Iqiyi land in Yangzhou, and there's going to be one in Hangzhou, Beijing and Kaifeng in next few years too. I know these are more cdrama-based attractions (fictional) but they are the most ideal places for me to visit - to enjoy ancient China...? I know I won't be able to visit them all... but I hope by having a list, it will help me plan my travel route around China, better, to include as many as I can!!! Thanks for your time!

I’m planning a 26‑day trip across China in June 2027 with one travel partner. We’ll be using high‑speed trains, Didi, and a few private drivers. 6. Shoe repair and hair salon recommendations
Hey 朋友们, it’s been years since I lived in Beijing. I’ll be visiting for about three months and I’m looking for a couple of services. Hoping to get some quality recommendations. Looking for someone who can handle more styled cuts, not just a basic trims I’ll be staying around the Dongcheng / Gulou area, so anything nearby would be ideal, but I’m open to traveling for quality. 辛苦你们!

Hello! I will soon be taking a business trip to Beijing to visit my company headquarters. I'm very excited, and I really want to make a good impression because I'm new. However, I'm American and not used to dressing professionally, and I keep reading that the professional dress code in China is more formal than in the US. 1. A British man who grew up in China talks about the differences between China and the West: Confucianism vs. Western individualism?
YouTube blogger: @thoughtsontravelandlife Number of fans: 14,000 As soon as this white-faced old man opened his mouth, the whole network was shocked! He was born in China in the 1950s, grew up in an ordinary public school, and experienced that special era firsthand. In the video, he subconsciously uses Chinese mental arithmetic, complains that parents nowadays are too doting on their children, and compares Chinese and foreign pensions and social security. His words are full of the "bureaucracy" and sharpness of old Beijing. Not only can he speak Chinese, but he also identifies with this land from the bottom of his heart. Listening to him tell about that little-known story about his growth, he will help you appreciate the Chinese heart in the soul of a "foreigner". This is the true cultural fusion!

3. What is it like teaching Chinese dance (classical dance) in the UK?
Luo Wanlin graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy. She immigrated to the UK more than ten years ago and opened her own dance school (in 1967). From a few children at the beginning, it now has forty or fifty. Chinese dance is dragon and lion dance? Martial arts? In order to let more foreigners have a clearer understanding of what real Chinese classical dance is, Luo Wanlin participated in dance festivals, Spring Festival Gala (British), opened her own dance studio, and participated in the "Move it" All-British Dance Festival at least eight times... She can stick to her dreams and share them with everyone, hoping to inspire more people; of course, including herself.

7. Looking into chinese colleges
**Hi everyone! I’m currently a senior student in and Ive been researching the possibility of moving to China** **I’ve always been interested in the country from afar and I’m currently learning Chinese, but I want to get some "real" perspectives before I commit** **A few things I’m curious about:** **Degree Reputation: For those who have graduated or are studying there, how does the degree hold up outside of China (especially in the Middle East or Europe)? Are Chinese engineering/tech degrees viewed as "elite" globally now?** **The BRI & Scholarships: I see a lot of talk about special scholarship quotas for "Belt and Road" members. How accessible are these for Middle Eastern students, and do the partial scholarships actually cover enough to make living affordable?** **Culture Shock: As someone coming from a Middle Eastern background, how big is the adjustment? Im specifically wondering about the social pace, the lifestyle, and the transition to dorm life** **Treatment of Foreigners: How is the atmosphere for international students? Is it generally a friendly environment, or is there a lot of "foreigner fatigue" or racism in the bigger university cities?** **Community: Is there a strong Arab or international student community in cities like Nanjing, Xian, or Beijing? I’d love to know if it’s easy to find familiar food or people who speak Arabic/English when homesickness hits** **If you’re a current student or an alum, Id love to hear your "no-filter" thoughts on whether youd recommend China for a 4-year degree!**

2. Physical Markets for Used Server Parts
Hey all, Im going to be back in Beijing in March to take care of some family business but I was curious what physical markets are best for Aliexpress/Ebay level of server parts. Hoping to upgrade my homelab with some savings. Im looking specifically for things like modded 4090s with 48 gb vram or used Epyc CPUs or cheaper Chinese ECC ram. Prices from Ebay and Aliexpress look decent but I was hoping to find these same sellers for hopefully additional discounts in person vs online.
3. Trains from Beijing
I'll be traveling to China in a couple of weeks and need to get a train from Beijing to Zhengzhou. I've looked on Trip.com and it says I can get a train from Bejingxi to Zhengzhoudong, however when I looked on Google maps where Bejingxi station is (assuming its Beijing West station) it says its permanently closed. Can anyone advise please?
4. Didi or other taxi in Beijing
Yesterday during a big snowstorm in New York, Uber fare went up 5 times. From airport to my house, it is usually about 20 USD. Yesterday it was about 100 USD! Didi and other taxi in Beijing can shot up 5 times in severe weather too?
